History A history of community leadership and service. In 1988, in the midst of a nationwide real estate slump, my mother, Yvonne Hastings, and I moved from Houston to open Coldwell Banker Properties Unlimited in Brenham. We were warmly welcomed by local residents, who immediately made us feel at home in the community. We were soon joined by my sisters, Kelli Brennan and Yvette Blazier Kirkland. We opened our office with the determination to set the very highest standards of real estate service for Brenham residents and newcomers. Within six months of opening our doors, we quickly took the lead in the area real estate business – a position we've held ever since. Through our dedication to strong customer service, honesty and integrity, we have grown our brokerage to include more than 35 Realtors in two offices serving nine counties, and we've won statewide recognition along the way. We work hard to contribute back to the community that's done so much for us. Members of our Coldwell Banker family serve in numerous organizations and charities and lead local events. Our annual 4th of July tradition has become an event in the community. Each year, we proudly distribute 10,000 U.S. flags to area homes and businesses.
